What Sets Jus Connect Rankings Apart

Our methodology is unique for three reasons:

  • No Submission Required: Practitioners and firms need not apply; the information is sourced directly from the track records in all Jus Connect profiles.
  • Based on Robust Data: Our data comes from Jus Mundi’s vast arbitration and international law database, sourced from global institutions and associations, public sources, and professional contributions.
  • Transparency: The process is clear and open, prioritizing merit based on the track records of arbitrators, lawyers, experts, chambers as well as law and expert firms.

Our Methodology

  • All 74,000+ profiles listed on Jus Connect for law firms (8900+), expert firms (780+), lawyers (48,600+), arbitrators (10,200+), experts (3,900+), legal experts (1,500+) are automatically considered for the rankings.
  • The data, derived from case documents and user interactions, is taken directly from Google Analytics and Jus Mundi’s database, which powers Jus Connect.
  • We consider all 2022/2023 data.
  • In our analysis for individual rankings, we focus on the profiles of arbitrators, lawyers, and experts without considering their positional hierarchy within their respective firms. We intentionally do not include judges, corporate legal counsel, and government lawyers in this evaluation. For the assessment of firm profiles, our scope is limited to law and expert firms (globally), as well as legal chambers (exclusively within the United Kingdom).

Advantages for Award Recipients

Award recipients gain significant advantages:

  • Referral and Pitch Advantage: Recognition supported by data is crucial as it lends credibility and authority, significantly enhancing referral business and increasing the effectiveness of pitches. This builds trust and showcases expertise, making it a valuable asset for any professional.
  • In-House Department Preference: These rankings are vital for in-house legal departments as they navigate through the decision-making process. Based on our 2023 user feedback, in-house counsel are increasingly turning to Jus Connect’s data-backed track records to aid their selection of external counsel, experts, or arbitrators.
