Paris, 23 December 2024
Jus Mundi proudly announces the addition of the International Arbitration Institute (IAI) Series on International Arbitration to its platform. As a cornerstone of thought leadership in international arbitration, the IAI Series now becomes an integral part of the Juris Arbitration Law Library, offering cutting-edge insights into the evolving landscape of international arbitration.
The International Arbitration Institute, established in 1974 under the auspices of the Comité Français de l’Arbitrage, is dedicated to promoting transparency, access, and dialogue in international arbitration. Revived in 1999 by the visionary Professor Emmanuel Gaillard whose legacy continued under the presidency of Yas Banifatemi, the IAI has shaped the global arbitration community through its commitment to advancing knowledge and fostering collaboration among practitioners from diverse legal traditions.
The IAI Series, published by Juris Publishing, features expertly curated proceedings from the IAI conferences. These publications address pivotal issues and emerging trends in international arbitration, providing actionable insights and thought-provoking analysis. From jurisdictional complexities to procedural innovations, the Series is an indispensable resource for practitioners, scholars, and students seeking to remain at the forefront of the field.
Yas Banifatemi, President of the IAI, said of the addition to Jus Mundi:
“I am extremely proud that the IAI Series on International Arbitration is now part of the rich catalogue of Jus Mundi, whose commitment to transparency and accessibility has, from the outset, perfectly matched the values upheld by Professor Emmanuel Gaillard. Based on the celebrated IAI conferences, which tackled and often pioneered topical questions of international arbitration, the IAI Series have been and continue to be a tremendous source of inspiration for those who enjoy researching some of the most complex questions in the field. I am grateful to Jean-Rémi de Maistre and Alexandre Vagenheim, as well as Michael Kitzen and Juris Publishing, for their remarkable work in making this happen, and to their commitment to give to the IAI Series an even broader readership around the world.”
Jean-Rémi de Maistre, CEO & Co-Founder of Jus Mundi, stated:
“Few individuals have shaped the field of international arbitration as profoundly as Emmanuel Gaillard, whose legacy of transparency and accessibility continues to guide us. In fact, early in Jus Mundi’s journey, I had the privilege of discussing our vision with him, and his wisdom and encouragement left an indelible mark. Today, under the leadership of Yas Banifatemi, who has so brilliantly carried forward Emmanuel’s legacy, the IAI Series becomes part of Jus Mundi’s platform in the Juris Arbitration Law Library. We are honored to make the IAI Series accessible to all, celebrating both Yas’ leadership and the enduring impact of Emmanuel’s work.”
