Press Release
Riyadh / Paris, 26 February 2026
The Saudi Center for Commercial Arbitration (SCCA) and Jus Mundi, a leading legal AI company specializing in arbitration and international law, were pleased to announce their new strategic collaboration during Riyadh International Disputes Week (RIDW)
Through this partnership, SCCA and Jus Mundi are working together to develop a bespoke AI-powered solution tailored to SCCA’s operational needs and strategic vision.
The two organizations are jointly identifying opportunities to leverage AI technology across SCCA’s operations, with a particular focus on case management workflows, research capabilities, and the delivery of modern ADR services. The project involves a detailed analysis of SCCA’s current processes, user needs, and institutional goals to identify where AI can create meaningful, tangible and measurable value for clients. The organizations will then produce subsequently an adapted bespoke solution that addresses SCCA’s unique requirements while maintaining the highest standards of institutional integrity and user services.
This collaboration deepens an already established partnership. In November 2022, SCCA and Jus Mundi signed a non-commercial cooperation agreement to make SCCA’s non-confidential awards and resources freely available on Jus Mundi’s database. In March 2024, SCCA and Jus Mundi further strengthened their commitment to transparency by publishing Saudi arbitration-related judgments in open-access format.
Dr. Hamed Bin Hassan Merah, CEO of SCCA, comments:
“At SCCA, foremost priority is delivering the best case management. We are committed to continuously enhancing how we manage and administer cases, and we will embrace innovation that meaningfully strengthens our service offering, and upholds the highest standards of institutional excellence.“
Jean‑Rémi de Maistre, Jus Mundi CEO & Co‑Founder, stated:
“We are honored to work alongside SCCA on this collaborative exploration of AI’s potential in institutional dispute resolution. Rather than a one-size-fits-all approach, this partnership is built on understanding SCCA’s unique ecosystem and co-developing a solution that genuinely serves their teams and users. This partnership exemplifies how thoughtful collaboration between institutions and technology providers can unlock AI’s potential in DRS.“
