The Academy of Experts and Jus Mundi are pleased to announce a new partnership aimed at enhancing the visibility and impact of expert practitioners in the arbitration space.

This collaboration will provide TAE members with a dedicated space on Jus Connect, a dynamic professional platform for arbitration practitioners. TAE experts will be invited to showcase their specialized knowledge, credentials, and experience and join a global audience of more than 60,000 lawyers, arbitrators, and institutional and government representatives.

TAE and Jus Mundi’s cooperation highlights their shared dedication to advancing professional standards and facilitating meaningful connections within the arbitration community. Through this partnership, expert practitioners will have unparalleled opportunities to engage, collaborate, and contribute to the evolution of arbitration practices worldwide.

About The Academy of Experts (TAE)

TAE is the premiere accrediting organisation for Expert Witnesses in the UK and was founded in 1987 with the objective of providing a professional body to establish and promote high standards.

Applicants for accreditation as Expert Witnesses undergo a rigorous vetting procedure. Ethical and professional standards are underlined by Codes of Practice and enforced by disciplinary processes.

Most officers, including the Chairman, are practising Experts – The Academy of Experts is run by Experts for Experts and those using them.

TAE has a Judicial Committee chaired by a former United Kingdom Supreme Court Judge and consists of Lords Justice of Appeal and other Senior Judges from the UK, Hong Kong and Singapore. It has been responsible for a range of documents and guidance notes including:

  • Model Form of Expert’s Report
  • Model Form of Expert CV
  • Guidance Notes on The Meetings of Experts
  • Guidance Notes on Contingency Fees for Experts.
  • Guidance on the giving of Remote Evidence
