Congratulations to our Arbitration Practitioner of the Week, Marie Valentini, Counsel at August Debouzy.

She has made her mark when representing French and foreign companies in arbitration disputes, mainly in the defense, telecom, banking, and transport sectors.

Her work in post-acquisition disputes, shareholder disputes, and agency/services agreements has made her a go-to Commercial Arbitrator in French courts.

Marie was admitted to the Paris bar in 2011 and was called to the bar of England and Wales in 2018.

Apart from authoring articles on leading arbitration issues, she also regularly teaches arbitration at universities like Sciences-Po Paris, the University of Corsica, and the University of Créteil.
