Congratulations to our Arbitration Practitioner of the Week, Kamalia Mehtiyeva, Partner at Barbier Mehtiyeva law.
With over a decade of experience at the Paris Bar, she has worked on multiple international arbitration and litigation matters throughout her career.
Kamalia is a Professor of Private Law at the University of Paris-Est Créteil. Her teaching and research fields focus on international arbitration law, civil procedure, mutual legal assistance both in civil and criminal matters as well as international enforcement.
She has also acted as a sole arbitrator in proceedings conducted under the auspices of the International Chamber of Commerce in disputes involving countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States and Turkey.
She also publishes regularly in French, English, and Russian on various issues of international arbitration and procedural law.
