Arbitration Practitioner of the Week #47 – 2023
Congratulations to our Arbitration Practitioner of the Week, Dr. Candan Yasan Tepetaş, an Independent Counsel and Arbitrator.
After completing her Ph.D. in 2015, she was affiliated with the Istanbul Arbitration Centre / ISTAC as Secretary General. During the term, she contributed to the drafting of its Arbitration and Mediation Rules.
Candan advises Turkish and foreign companies in arbitration and dispute resolution.
Her command in international and domestic arbitration proceedings is second to none and has conducted cases in English, French, and Turkish.
In addition to her practice, Candan is a member of the Private International Law Department at Istanbul Bilgi University Faculty of Law, where she teaches classes on:
– private international law,
– international commercial law,
– international dispute settlement, and
– international human rights law.
