Jus Mundi and LCIA Announce Strategic Collaboration to Advance Arbitration Excellence and AI Innovation

Press Release

London / Paris, 3 December 2025

Jus Mundi, the AI-powered global arbitration intelligence platform, and the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), one of the world’s most respected arbitral institutions, today announced a strategic partnership to advance international arbitration through knowledge sharing, training initiatives, and innovative AI-driven solutions.

This collaboration brings together the LCIA’s institutional expertise and global reach with Jus Mundi’s arbitration-first AI technology to support and develop arbitration practice through education, research, and technological advancement.

Joint Knowledge and Training Initiatives

The collaboration will deliver value to the arbitration community through:

  • Educational Programmes: Jointly organising conferences, seminars, workshops, and other events on international arbitration to foster knowledge exchange and professional development.
  • AI Training and Development: Collaboratively developing and conducting training programmes and workshops on artificial intelligence applications in arbitration, equipping practitioners with the skills and tools to navigate the evolving technological landscape.
  • Research and Thought Leadership: Extending the collaboration to joint research initiatives, including the production of joint reports, white papers, and case studies on developments in arbitration and technology innovation.

Kevin Nash, Director General, LCIA, said:

“Our partnership with Jus Mundi reflects a forward-looking approach to integrating technology, including AI, into the practice of arbitration. Education, training and joint research give us the right entry points to understand the needs of users, counsel, arbitrators, and institutions and to consider how future technologies and tools can be intelligently designed for next-generation arbitrations. LCIA’s case management experience and Jus Mundi’s technical expertise in arbitration intelligence will provide a robust platform to guide the next phase of arbitration practice. We look forward to advancing this important work together.”

The collaboration will explore innovative projects to implement arbitration-specific AI-driven solutions that enhance legal research, case analysis, and arbitration processes. Jus Mundi will leverage its cutting-edge AI innovations to support LCIA workflows, focusing on practical applications that strengthen institutional operations and enhance the user experience.

As the collaboration develops, both organisations will continue to identify and test areas to evaluate opportunities where AI can add real value while maintaining the quality and procedural integrity that define excellence in international arbitration.

Jean‑Rémi de Maistre, CEO & Co‑Founder of Jus Mundi, emphasised:

“The LCIA has set the standard for institutional excellence in international arbitration for decades. This collaboration reflects our shared commitment to advancing the field through innovation that serves practitioners. By combining LCIA’s institutional expertise with our arbitration-first AI technology, we can deliver practical solutions that enhance research, analysis, and decision-making. This is not about technology for its own sake. It is about giving the arbitration community tools built by arbitration professionals, for arbitration professionals.”

The partnership expands global access to essential arbitration intelligence, strengthening connections within the international arbitration community.

About the LCIA

The London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA) is one of the world’s leading institutions for the resolution of cross-border disputes. Established more than 130 years ago in the City of London, it operates today as a wholly independent, non-profit institution, not affiliated with any chamber, trade body, or government.

Over the past decade, the LCIA has administered cases involving parties from more than 170 jurisdictions, 80 seats of arbitration, and 110 governing laws. Renowned for its independence, efficiency, and impartiality, it administers many of the world’s most significant disputes. Independent analyses of its anonymised case data show that the LCIA is among the most cost-effective of the major arbitral institutions, particularly for high-value cases.

The LCIA’s work is supported by a balanced approach to transparency and confidentiality, established systems for electronic filing and remote hearings, and ongoing design and testing of legal technology and AI to support case management. With generations of administered arbitrations behind it, and a readiness for the arbitrations of tomorrow, the LCIA is recognised worldwide as a standard-setting institution and trusted leader in international dispute resolution.
