OAC and Jus Mundi Announce Partnership to Elevate Access to Arbitration Intelligence

The Oman Commercial Arbitration Centre (OAC) and Jus Mundi are proud to announce the start of a strategic partnership to broaden access to arbitration resources from the Sultanate of Oman and the wider GCC region. The collaboration will advance practical, technology-driven solutions in research and professional practice.

As part of the collaboration, OAC will make selected non-confidential case materials and practice guidance available on Jus Mundi for practitioners, academics, and students worldwide. Combining OAC’s institutional leadership with Jus Mundi’s legal intelligence, the initiative will deliver trusted resources and expertise. OAC and Jus Mundi will also collaborate on advancing knowledge and know-how for responsible AI adoption in arbitration. 

Dr Abdullah al Mandhari, OAC CEO, states:

About OAC

Oman Commercial Arbitration Centre (OAC) was established by Royal Decree no. 26/2018. It has a legal personality and enjoys administrative and financial autonomy. Stemming out of Oman’s 2040 vision with the strategic objective to encourage new investments in Oman. 

OAC’s main objective is to provide arbitration, mediation, and other forms of ADR services to administer local, regional, and international disputes, and is also responsible for the following: 

  • Providing necessary consultations and services for resolving commercial disputes. 
  • Spreading awareness of ADR. 
  • Issuing and monitoring prospectuses and OAC’s printed matter. 
  • Co-operating with local, regional, and international arbitration centers, and relevant bodies and organizations.
