Jus Mundi and eBRAM Strengthen Collaboration to Advance AI Innovation in Arbitration

Press Release

Hong Kong/Paris, 9 July 2025

Jus Mundi and eBRAM International Online Dispute Resolution Centre are pleased to expand their 2024 partnership with a renewed focus on promoting the adoption of artificial intelligence in arbitration. This new phase of collaboration underscores their joint commitment to driving innovation and advancing the digital transformation of the legal sector through the responsible and practical use of AI.

To advance their shared mission, Jus Mundi and eBRAM will launch a series of joint initiatives and thought leadership activities designed to foster meaningful and educational engagement with artificial intelligence within the arbitration community. This cooperation also reinforces eBRAM’s position as a forward-looking institution committed to evolving with the needs of its users. Through this continued cooperation, eBRAM and Jus Mundi aim to play an active role in shaping how AI is explored and embraced by arbitral institutions, helping to set standards for its practical and informed use across the field.

Ronald Sum JP, Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of eBRAM, said:

“It’s exciting to see eBRAM and Jus Mundi—two institutions dedicated to advancing technology and AI for the dispute resolution community—strengthening the collaborations. Our complementary strengths create powerful synergies that will enhance the experience for arbitration users. I look forward to continue working together with Jus Mundi to drive the digital transformation of the legal sector through more responsible and practical use of AI.”

Jean-Rémi de Maistre, CEO and Co-Founder of Jus Mundi, said:

“We are excited to take our collaboration with eBRAM to the next level by introducing Jus AI into its ecosystem. This extended partnership reflects our mutual belief in the power of technology to enhance access to arbitration knowledge and support innovation across the field.”

About eBRAM

eBRAM is a hybrid institution and LawTech company. eBRAM was established in 2018 with the support of the Hong Kong Bar Association, the Law Society of Hong Kong, the Asian Academy of International Law, and Logistics and Supply Chain MultiTech R&D Centre. It is a not-for-profit, non-government entity providing independent and neutral services for the dispute resolution community.

As a dispute resolution institution, it provides institutional services for arbitration and mediation with the support of its Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) Platform. The ODR Platform provides LawTech tools to assist with arbitral and mediation proceedings.

eBRAM is recognised as one of nine qualified institutions in Hong Kong eligible to apply to Mainland Chinese courts for interim measures in aid of Hong Kong-seated arbitral proceedings under the Arrangement Concerning Mutual Assistance in Court-ordered Interim Measures in Aid of Arbitral Proceedings by the Courts of the Mainland and of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (Interim Measures Arrangement). eBRAM is the only ODR Provider from Hong Kong listed under the APEC Collaborative Framework for ODR of Cross-Border B2B Disputes, under which eBRAM provides its APEC Rules in addition to its Arbitration and Mediation Rules.

Aside from providing institutional and ODR services, eBRAM also operates a Deal-Making Portal (DMP), which provides transactional, deal-making support to businesses. The services together provide a one-stop service for enterprises, covering their cross-border transactions from contracting to dispute resolution.
