Jus Mundi’s research tools to be provided for free to scholars in over 80 lower and middle-income countries via Research4Life

Press release

Paris, 6 September 2022

Research4Life and Jus Mundi have joined forces to provide international law and arbitration resources for free to scholars and researchers in over 80 lower and middle-income countries.

Through the Research4Life platform, scholars in national libraries, government offices, law schools, research institutes, and NGOs are now able to access the core search-engine filters and advanced AI-driven tools of Jus Mundi.

Speaking of the partnership, Jean-Rémi de Maistre, CEO of Jus Mundi, stated that:

“Inequality in education globally means that access to international legal materials has been unfairly denied to those who arguably need it the most.

Jus Mundi is aiming to make international law and arbitration materials available to anyone on the planet with an internet connection. We are extremely proud to be part of Research4Life and look forward to this wonderful opportunity to contribute to the public good and support the global Rule of Law.”

Dr. Gracian Chimwaza, as Chair of the Research4Life Executive Council, added  that:

“We welcome Jus Mundi extending access to its resources for researchers in the area of arbitration. Our mission at Research4Life is to increase participation of researchers from lower income countries in the global research community, and collaborations such as this one represent a major step forward.”
