Mónica van der Schraft is a lawyer from Universidad de Chile and holds an LL.M. from Harvard University. Independent arbitrator with extensive experience in domestic and international arbitrations, as sole arbitrator and as a member of arbitral tribunals, under the rules of CAM Santiago, the ICC, and CIAM Ecuador, as well as in ad hoc arbitrations. She has acted in numerous arbitral proceedings, mostly by joint appointment of the parties. She previously practiced for more than thirty years as counsel in complex disputes. She is a frequent speaker and guest lecturer in graduate programs on arbitration. She has been repeatedly recognized by prestigious international legal rankings.
