is an (LL.M.) candidate in Transnational Arbitration and Dispute Settlement at Sciences Po Law School and a (Ph.D.) researcher at Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. His doctoral research examines the treatment of State entities in international arbitration. He has served as a Judge-Rapporteur at the Egyptian State Council and previously practiced as an international arbitration associate at a GAR 100 law firm. He is qualified as a lawyer in Egypt and as a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England & Wales. Lokmen works in English, French, and Arabic.
