ACHCCI and Jus Mundi Announce Partnership to Share Arbitration Materials with the World

Press release

Paris, 31 August 2022

The Arbitration Court attached to the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACHCCI) and Jus Mundi are delighted to announce a partnership to make ACHCCI arbitration materials more accessible globally.

ACHCCI and Jus Mundi formed the partnership following discussions on improving the global understanding of arbitration in Hungary by jointly increasing transparency while respecting confidentiality through publishing anonymized extracts of ACHCCI arbitral awards.

The partnership will improve access to these ACHCCI materials using Jus Mundi’s advanced AI-based research tools, enhancing the accuracy and efficiency of legal research conducted worldwide involving ACHCCI’s materials.

Speaking about the partnership, Dr. János Burai-Kovács, President of the ACHCCI, stated that:

“Jus Mundi is an entity well-known in the international environment that supports public access to justice using new technologies. ACHCCI is committed to grant access to non-confidential arbitration materials to facilitate the competitiveness of arbitration proceedings.”

Jean-Rémi de Maistre, CEO of Jus Mundi, commenting on the partnership said:

“Budapest is a leading European seat for international arbitration, which is why we are delighted to partner with ACHCCI and improve the world’s understanding of their important work. Through sharing anonymized extracts of arbitration awards, we’ll actively improve the understanding of Hungarian arbitration worldwide while still respecting confidentiality.”

The partnership will see select ACHCCI awards brought into Jus Mundi’s comprehensive international law and arbitration database, ensuring that practitioners and researchers worldwide have improved access to these valuable legal resources.
