The secretariat of the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) and Jus Mundi are delighted to announce a new collaboration to make UNCITRAL’s Case Law on UNCITRAL Texts (CLOUT) abstracts fully accessible on Jus Mundi’s open-access platform.
CLOUT is the leading resource for case law on UNCITRAL texts, collecting and disseminating court decisions and arbitral awards to support the consistent and uniform interpretation of UNCITRAL texts across jurisdictions worldwide.
Through this collaboration, CLOUT abstracts — published as official United Nations documents — will be made available on Jus Mundi’s platform, enabling judges, academics and other law practitioners around the world to search, analyze, and leverage this case law using Jus Mundi’s advanced multilingual research tools. This collaboration marks a significant step forward in facilitating access to international commercial law jurisprudence, further disseminating the authoritative UNCITRAL case law resource to the global legal community.

Through an international network of national correspondents, institutional partners, and voluntary contributors, CLOUT collects and disseminates abstracts of court decisions and arbitral awards from all legal traditions relating to UNCITRAL instruments.
CLOUT abstracts are based on original decisions and prepared in one of the six official languages of the United Nations, after which they are reviewed and edited by the UNCITRAL secretariat prior to publication, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and accessibility across jurisdictions.
