Jus Mundi has become an affiliate of CodeX, the Center for Legal Informatics at Stanford University, to drive AI research and development (R&D) in legal research and arbitration, notably through hands-on innovation via hackathons. This collaboration will focus on advancing artificial intelligence (AI) applications and exploring its evolving role in legal practice.
Jus AI is a suite of AI assistants designed for arbitration, offering expertise in legal research, translation, document analysis, and drafting. By leveraging Jus Mundi’s extensive international law and arbitration database, Jus AI enhances speed and accuracy in legal work.

AI Hackathons to Fuel Legal Innovation
The series of AI-focused hackathons aims to bring together legal professionals, academics, and technologists to further Jus AI for the legal industry. The first event, the LLM x Law Hackathon at Stanford, will take place on April 6, 2025, as part of CodeX’s 20th Anniversary celebrations and the fifth edition of this prestigious event.

Beyond the hackathons, the role of AI in legal research and practice will be a key topic of discussion at the FutureLaw Conference at Stanford. The conference will bring together industry leaders, legal scholars, and AI experts to examine AI’s evolving impact on the legal profession.
By advancing AI innovation in legal technology, this collaboration seeks to empower legal professionals with intelligent tools for arbitration and international law, ensuring that the legal industry stays at the forefront of technological progress.
