AIJA and Jus Mundi Partner to Boost AIJA Members’ Profiles via Jus Connect, Increasing Opportunities for Dispute Resolution Practitioners Worldwide

Press Release

Paris, 26 September 2024

The International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA) and Jus Mundi are thrilled to announce a new partnership aimed at expanding opportunities for the younger generation of dispute resolution practitioners worldwide.

This collaboration will elevate the profiles of AIJA members by integrating the Jus Connect platform with the AIJA Member Directory, fostering greater diversity in arbitration.

Through this partnership, AIJA members with profiles on Jus Connect will have their AIJA membership recognized and can update their profiles with relevant expertise and publicly available data.

Speaking about the partnership, Kato Aerts, AIJA President, stated that:

“Being a member of the only global largest international bar association devoted to young lawyers, I know many of AIJA’s members and alumni who focus on complex, cross-border disputes already enjoy Jus Mundi’s robust AI research and social platforms.

This exciting endeavour will allow our global arbitration practitioners to highlight their AIJA affiliation to potential clients and appointing authorities through their profile pages on the Jus Connect platform. We cannot wait for our members to enjoy the benefits of this partnership as we advocate for increased information sharing and diversity in the selection of counsel and arbitrators.”

Jean-Rémi de Maistre, CEO & Co-Founder of Jus Mundi and Jus Connect, added:

“We are immensely proud to join forces with AIJA to enhance its members’ profiles in the field of arbitration in the name of improving diversity in arbitration. AIJA is a key actor in the international arbitration space as it is the only global association devoted to lawyers and in-house counsel aged 45 and under, with a community of over 6,000 people in 100+ different countries, including over 60 collective members and Bar Associations.  Through our Jus Connect platform, we aim to further support AIJA’s worldwide membership, underscoring our commitment to diversity in arbitration and improved access to arbitration for practitioners around the globe.”

Following the announcement of the partnership, AIJA and Jus Connect will begin ensuring that AIJA members who have an existing Jus Connect profile can display their AIJA membership badge, boosting their profile and supporting equality and diversity in arbitration.
