Press Release

Istanbul | Paris, 2024, 19 April 2024

The Istanbul Arbitration Centre (ISTAC) and Jus Mundi are delighted to announce a new partnership to share non-confidential ISTAC arbitration awards and related ISTAC arbitration materials, free to the general public, for the benefit of the public good.

In the exclusive partnership, ISTAC will select non-confidential ISTAC arbitration awards and related information for Jus Mundi to host on its open public database, allowing anyone on the planet to search these materials using Jus Mundi’s open research tools.

Speaking about the partnership, Yasin Ekmen, Secretary General of ISTAC stated that:

“Our alliance with Jus Mundi underlines our dedication to legal innovation, collaboration, and excellence in the field of international arbitration. ISTAC is proud to showcase the esteemed work of its renowned arbitrators on a global stage.”

Jean-Rémi de Maistre, CEO & Co-Founder of Jus Mundi, said:

“Turkey has always been a multi-lingual hub for international arbitration and dispute settlement, and Jus Mundi is proud to be part of ISTAC’s commitment to moving towards greater transparency in arbitration while preserving confidentiality. We look forward to working with ISTAC to provide practitioners, researchers, and students of the law, with a greater certainty, understanding, and knowledge of arbitration in Turkey.”

Following the announcement of the partnership, ISTAC and Jus Mundi will begin incorporating non-confidential ISTAC awards and related materials into Jus Mundi’s comprehensive international law and arbitration database. Materials will be made available in a range of languages as determined by ISTAC and the language of the arbitration.
