Press Release

Paris, 17 April 2023

The Commercial Arbitration Center of the Portuguese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CAC-CCIP) and Jus Mundi are delighted to announce a partnership to exclusively share non-confidential CAC-CCIP arbitration awards and related materials globally, for the benefit of the public good.

Under the new partnership, Jus Mundi will host select CAC-CCIP non-confidential arbitration awards and related information, allowing the general public to search these materials using Jus Mundi’s advanced AI-based platform and open research tools.

Speaking about the partnership, Mariana França Gouveia, President of the CAC-CCIP, stated:

“CAC-CCIP’s international growth and promotion of the Lusophone arbitration community, while upholding confidentiality and increasing business certainty, is of paramount importance. Thus, and considering that this partnership will allow CAC-CCIP to disseminate its decisions through a world-renowned and innovative search engine, that combines international legal expertise and artificial intelligence, while ensuring full confidentiality, we are certain that Jus Mundi is the right partner in this path.”

Jean-Rémi de Maistre, CEO of Jus Mundi, said that:

“Portugal has long been a trusted seat for commercial arbitration in Europe, and with over 35 years of dispute resolution, the CAC-CCIP continues to expand its caseload and its contribution to international arbitration. For this reason, Jus Mundi is delighted to create this partnership to exclusively host non-confidential CAC-CCIP awards and related materials on Jus Mundi, making these materials available to anyone on the planet.”
