THAC and Jus Mundi Announce Exclusive Partnership for Sharing Non-Confidential Arbitration Awards

The Thailand Arbitration Center and Jus Mundi are delighted to announce an exclusive partnership to make non-confidential THAC arbitration awards and related THAC materials freely available globally, for the benefit of the public good.

Under the partnership with THAC, Jus Mundi will host select THAC non-confidential arbitration awards and related information, allowing the general public to search for materials using Jus Mundi’s advanced AI-based platform and open research tools.

Speaking about the partnership, Ms. Machimdhorn Khampiranont, Acting Manager of THAC, stated that:

“THAC is welcoming very exciting news in the growth of arbitration in the region by partnering with Jus Mundi. Our institution is working every day to raise awareness and offer qualitative support. We believe that this partnership with Jus Mundi shows that our efforts are paying off. THAC attaches great importance to doing international business in the region, maintaining confidentiality in arbitration while enhancing transparency and increasing business certainty in Thailand – one of the most important economies in the region.”

Jean-Rémi de Maistre, CEO of Jus Mundi, said that:

“We are honored to be partnering with THAC, an institution with over 15 years of experience administering arbitration in the Asia Pacific region. Our important exclusive partnership with THAC underscores the region’s focus on confidentiality in arbitration while enhancing transparency for the good of all and the increased use of arbitration by the business community.”

The partnership will see select THAC arbitration awards and related materials exclusively hosted on Jus Mundi’s comprehensive international law and arbitration database.

The Thailand Arbitration Center (THAC) is an institution that provides alternative dispute resolution services, comprising arbitration and mediation, for cross-border disputes. It is established by the Act of Arbitration Center B.E. 2550 (2007). The THAC was first founded and commenced its operation in 2015, intending to promote and strengthen the alternative dispute resolution system and services in Thailand.
