CRCICA and Jus Mundi Partner to Unlock Global Digital Access to Arab Arbitration Knowledge #2

Press Release

Paris | Vienna, 9 July 2026

The secretariat of the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) and Jus Mundi are delighted to announce a new collaboration to make UNCITRAL’s Case Law on UNCITRAL Texts (CLOUT) abstracts fully accessible on Jus Mundi’s open-access platform.

CLOUT is the leading resource for case law on UNCITRAL texts, collecting and disseminating court decisions and arbitral awards to support the consistent and uniform interpretation of UNCITRAL texts across jurisdictions worldwide.

Through this collaboration, CLOUT abstracts — published as official United Nations documents — will be made available on Jus Mundi’s platform, enabling judges, academics and other law practitioners around the world to search, analyze, and leverage this case law using Jus Mundi’s advanced multilingual research tools. This collaboration marks a significant step forward in facilitating access to international commercial law jurisprudence, further disseminating the authoritative UNCITRAL case law resource to the global legal community.

Anna Joubin-Bret, the Secretary of UNCITRAL, stated:

“Promoting the uniform interpretation and application of UNCITRAL texts is a key component of UNCITRAL’s mandate to further the progressive harmonization and unification of international trade law. By ensuring that relevant jurisprudence is accessible across borders and legal traditions, and making CLOUT abstracts more widely available through Jus Mundi’s platform, we are enhancing global access to UNCITRAL-related case law and supporting judges, practitioners, and policymakers in the consistent interpretation and application of UNCITRAL texts worldwide.”

Jean-Rémi de Maistre, CEO & Co-Founder of Jus Mundi, stated:

“Partnering with the UNCITRAL secretariat is a real milestone for us. CLOUT is one of the most authoritative bodies of case law in international commercial law, and having the UNCITRAL secretariat trust Jus Mundi to bring it to a wider audience is something we are proud of. This is the kind of partnership that reminds us why we built Jus Mundi.”

About UNCITRAL / CLOUT

Established in 1988, the Case Law on UNCITRAL Texts (CLOUT) system supports the uniform interpretation and application of UNCITRAL texts. Through an international network of national correspondents, institutional partners, and voluntary contributors, CLOUT collects and disseminates abstracts of court decisions and arbitral awards from all legal traditions relating to UNCITRAL instruments.

CLOUT abstracts are based on original decisions and prepared in one of the six official languages of the United Nations, after which they are reviewed and edited by the UNCITRAL secretariat prior to publication, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and accessibility across jurisdictions.
