Rania Alnaber is an Associate at Obeidat Lawyers. She focuses her practice primarily on commercial and construction arbitration matters, serving both as counsel and assistant to the arbitral tribunal. She also assists clients to resolve their disputes amicably. Her experience further covers wide range of tech and telecom matters. She holds an LLB from University of Jordan and two LL.M degrees – one in International Commercial Law from the University of Bristol and the other in Technology, Media, and Telecommunications Law from Queen Mary University of London. Rania is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and has various publications in the arbitration field.

Daniel Hemerly Ferreira is a Latin American Fellow at White & Case, sitting in the New York office. He is licensed to practice in Brazil and previously worked for around 8 years at Bermudes Advogados, based in Rio de Janeiro, specializing in dispute resolution (Arbitration and Commercial Litigation) across a wide range of sectors. Daniel is fluent in English and Portuguese and holds an LL.M. from Columbia Law School (with honors), where he served as LL.M. Representative of the Columbia International Arbitration Association (CIAA), worked as a Research Assistant to Professors George A. Bermann and Kabir Duggal, and was Academic Events Officer of CLS Brazil, Columbia’s Brazilian students’ association. He also holds a post-graduate degree in Contract Law from Pontifícia Universidade Católica of Rio de Janeiro – PUC-Rio and a Bachelor of Laws from PUC-Rio.

Benedikt Kaneko

Benedikt Kaneko is an attorney at Gleiss Lutz in Germany and advises clients on international commercial and investment arbitrations, cross-border disputes, and complex litigation. Adam Malek is a French-Algerian Lawyer registered with the Paris Bar (Avocat à la Cour). He works as an Associate at Darci. His work covers commercial and investment arbitration as well as complex international disputes with a particular focus on construction. He represents companies in international arbitration proceedings under the rules of major arbitration centers and in annulment proceedings before the Paris Court of Appeal. He also advises and assists clients in drafting contracts and contractual documentation, avoiding and resolving disputes in relation with international construction projects. Adam trained and worked with arbitration teams of major law firms such as Quinn Emanuel, Clifford Chance and De Gaulle Fleurance. He is involved in different projects related to international arbitration, such as Arb&Cast, Young ICCA, Young AffA, or YSIAC. Mark brings interdisciplinary legal insight, regulatory experience, and international exposure to his professional engagements.

Galo Márquez Ruiz

Galo M. Márquez Ruíz is an International Legal Counsel at Creel, García-Cuéllar, Aiza y Enríquez based in Mexico City, specializing in commercial and investment disputes under ICC, ICSID, AAA-ICDR, CANACO, and CAM rules, as well as annulment proceedings. He will return to a LACCA ‘Elite Firm’ in Mexico City after completing the Magister Juris at Oxford University. Galo has held leadership roles, including Vis Moot Coach for Oxford, General Coordinator of the Arbitration Practitioners Forum (CAM/CANACO). He is a Johnny Veeder Fellow (ICCA), a member of the Academic Forum on ISDS (UNCITRAL WGIII), and part of the Technology and Quantum Studies Group at the Silicon Valley Arbitration and Mediation Center. His writing received the 2022 Academic Prize for International Arbitration from the Spanish Arbitration Club. Galo holds an LL.B. from Tec de Monterrey, an LL.M. from Queen Mary University of London, and a Magister Juris from Oxford University.

Gabriel Ortega is a Bolivian-qualified lawyer currently working as a Legal Intern in the Dispute Resolution team at Freshfields in Dubai. His work focuses on international arbitration, global investigations, and dispute-readiness advisory work in relation to Middle East-focused matters. Prior to joining Freshfields, he served as a Junior Lawyer at TotalEnergies EP Bolivie, advising on energy and regulatory matters, upstream and midstream gas operations, and compliance strategies. He also worked as a Junior Associate at Dentons Guevara & Gutiérrez, where he assisted with cross-border finance transactions and the structuring of investments in Bolivia’s lithium sector. Alongside his professional practice, he pursues academic research on damages and valuation in Investor-State arbitration.

She is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) and currently serves as Vice President of the Moot Alumni Association, having previously been an editor of its Vindobona Journal. At Fordham Law School, Jessica serves as Alumni Advisor, coaching students competing in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot. She is also Head of Programming at Careers in Arbitration, where she moderates the “1000 Paths to a Career in Arbitration” webinar series and regularly organizes programs on career development. Fluent in multiple languages, Jessica also contributes to the Arbitration in Translation initiative by translating Italian, French, and Spanish decisions and awards into English.
