Thomas Latterner, CTO and Co-Founder of Jus Mundi: My passion for software & data engineering began at 15. Since then, I have been actively engaged in this field, with an evolving focus towards artificial intelligence. Starting as an Engineer and Project Manager at Capgemini, my path has been marked by a deep involvement in research and development, with a special emphasis on AI. Currently, I lead our Jus AI Technology Team, dedicating myself to building legal AI through Large Language Models. It was in this setting that I recognized the need for Panama’s first centralized search engine for national rulings, leading to its creation using automated pipelines for extracting both implicit and explicit metadata.
