Jus Mundi, the leading international law and arbitration research engine, has announced a new collaboration with Oxford University Press, the world’s largest university press with printing origins dating back to 1478. The licensing partnership aims to offer subscribers access on the Jus Mundi platform to a selection of high-quality, authoritative content from Oxford University Press, focused on investment arbitration, public international law, and world trade law and packaged together as the Oxford University Press Law Library.
The Jus Mundi database will add nine books and three journals from Oxford University Press’ extensive and renowned publication catalogue, written by some of the most prominent names in the field, including Nigel Blackaby, KC; Constantine Partasides, KC; Alan Redfern; Noah Rubins; Borzu Sabahi; Don Wallace Jr.; and Katia Yannaca-Small.[JD1]
The Library includes access to the latest editions of key publications like the foremost treatise on international arbitration, Redfern and Hunter on International Arbitration; the highly respected, Calculation of Compensation and Damages in International Investment Law; and the most authoritative and famous investment law journal, the ICSID Review – Foreign Investment Law Journal.
“We are proud to announce that a selection of secondary sources from Oxford University Press is now available on Jus Mundi. This collaboration underscores our commitment to providing our clients with the most comprehensive legal intelligence available,” said Jean-Rémi de Maistre, CEO of Jus Mundi.
“Access to Oxford University Press’ unparalleled resources will allow our clients to easily find valuable information in one convenient location, thereby streamlining their research and improving their outcomes,” he added.
Also commenting on the collaboration, Merel Alstein, Head of Acquisition for Law at Oxford University Press, said:
“We are delighted to be collaborating with Jus Mundi and extending our reach through their digital research platform. OUP and Jus Mundi share a mission of excellence in research and facilitating access to learning and resources. We are proud to be a part of this exciting licensing partnership.”
The unique combination of Oxford University Press’ authoritative publications and Jus Mundi’s AI technology enables users to search quickly across broad resources and uncover cross-references to build bulletproof arbitration and litigation strategies.
The Jus Mundi – Oxford University Press package is designed primarily for small- and medium-sized businesses seeking to enhance their research capabilities without replacing existing legal research tools. Governments, international organizations, individual practitioners, and barristers practicing public international law will also find the package to be an invaluable resource.
The agreement will enable Jus Mundi’s existing and future clients to access a selection of Oxford University Press’ distinguished publications alongside Jus Mundi’s own subscription service. Current Jus Mundi subscribers will benefit from complimentary access to the new Oxford University Press Law Library for one month before it becomes an add-on subscription like the ICC Dispute Resolution Library and Juris Arbitration Law Library packages.
