Congratulations to our Arbitration Practitioner of the Week APOW, Wendy Lin, a Partner at WongPartnership LLP.
She has over 2 decades of experience in high-value, multi-jurisdictional, and complex commercial, fraud, and asset recovery disputes before the Singapore Courts and various arbitral rules.
Over and above Wendy’s busy practice as counsel, Wendy also sits as an arbitrator in cases administered by the Singapore International Arbitration Centre, ICC Arbitration, and the CIETAC Hong Kong Arbitration Center.
She is presently serving her third term as Co-Chair of the YSIAC Committee and is a member of the Singapore Academy of Law’s Law Reform Committee.
With her proficiency in Chinese and Korean law, she has successfully acted as a co-licensor of an extremely popular multiplayer online role-playing game in a complex ICC arbitration against its Chinese licensee.
Wendy achieved an unprecedented setting-aside of an award worth over USD 525 million.
