CIESP/FIESP and Jus Mundi Announce Partnership to Expand Global Access to Brazilian Arbitration

The Câmara de Conciliação, Mediação e Arbitragem CIESP/FIESP will share its non-confidential arbitration awards on Jus Mundi’s platform, bringing 30 years of Brazilian dispute resolution practice to a global audience of legal professionals and researchers.

Press Release

Paris, September 29, 2026

The Câmara de Conciliação, Mediação e Arbitragem CIESP/FIESP (Chamber CIESP/FIESP) and Jus Mundi, the AI-powered global arbitration intelligence platform, today announced a partnership to publish Chamber CIESP/FIESP’s non-confidential arbitration awards on Jus Mundi’s platform. The agreement will make a significant body of Brazilian commercial arbitration practice accessible and searchable to practitioners, academics, and institutions around the world.

Founded in May 1995 by the Centro das Indústrias do Estado de São Paulo (CIESP) and the Federação das Indústrias do Estado de São Paulo (FIESP), Chamber CIESP/FIESP has administered arbitration, mediation, conciliation, and dispute board proceedings for three decades. Operating with autonomous, independent management, it is one of Brazil’s oldest and most established dispute resolution institutions, serving commercial parties across a broad range of sectors within the country’s largest industrial hub.

Under the partnership, a collection of materials from Chamber CIESP/FIESP will be published and searchable on Jus Mundi, including non-confidential arbitration awards, the composition of arbitral tribunals, and the institution’s Digest of Arbitrator Challenge Decisions — a curated digest of decisions on arbitrator challenge proceedings. Together, these resources will enable legal professionals globally to access and analyse Brazilian arbitration jurisprudence and institutional governance through Jus Mundi’s AI-powered, multilingual research tools.

The inclusion of the Digest of Arbitrator Challenge Decisions is a particularly significant step for transparency in Brazilian arbitration. Arbitrator challenge decisions are rarely made public by institutions worldwide; their availability on Jus Mundi will offer practitioners and researchers an authoritative reference point on standards applied in Brazil, and will contribute to the ongoing global conversation on arbitrator independence and impartiality. The publication of tribunal compositions further supports accountability and facilitates informed decision-making in the appointment process.

For practitioners and academics working on cross-border disputes, comparative arbitration research, or matters involving Brazilian parties, the integration provides meaningful new depth. Brazil is one of the most active institutional arbitration markets in Latin America, and Chamber CIESP/FIESP’s three decades of awards represent a substantive and underrepresented body of regional practice now opening to global scrutiny.

“Brazil is one of the most dynamic arbitration markets in the world, and Chamber CIESP/FIESP is at the heart of that development,” said Bianca Longo, Senior Managing Director for Brazil at Jus Mundi. “This partnership reflects our commitment to building a truly global intelligence platform — one where Brazilian arbitration is not just visible, but searchable, researchable, and connected to the broader body of international arbitration knowledge.”

“For 30 years, Chamber CIESP/FIESP has been committed to promoting efficient, transparent, and accessible dispute resolution in Brazil,” said Lilian Bertolani, Secretary General of Chamber CIESP/FIESP. “Our partnership with Jus Mundi allows the work of our institution to reach practitioners and academics around the world, contributing to the visibility and development of Brazilian arbitration on the global stage.”
