We\u2019re thrilled to welcome Michele Sonen<\/strong><\/a> as our new Head of APAC<\/strong>, based in South Korea. With nearly a decade of experience in international arbitration across Asia, Michele brings both deep regional insight and a strong belief in innovation through technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI\u2019ve cared about access to justice since my early days working in social justice and human rights,\u201d she shares. \u201cJoining Jus Mundi felt like a natural way to bring that mission into the legal world – using AI to solve real challenges that legal professionals face every day.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n Michele\u2019s career spans private practice<\/strong>, arbitral institutions, national courts, and human rights advocacy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n She most recently led strategy and stakeholder engagement<\/strong> across North East Asia and the Middle East at one of the world\u2019s top arbitral institutions. Before that, she practiced international arbitration at a top-tier law firm in Seoul.
