Dr. Andrew Willcocks<\/strong>, our Senior Director of Partnerships & Publications, takes us through a huge year for new partnerships at Jus Mundi<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n In 2023, Jus Mundi was extremely proud to conclude 23 partnerships with international arbitral institutions and associations across the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We would like to thank all our partners who have joined us in making international law and arbitration materials globally available to the public, in the name of the public good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In March, we welcomed the Cairo Regional Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (CRCICA)<\/a> with an exclusive partnership to make key selected CRCICA arbitration awards and related materials freely available to the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We were also thrilled to announce in March that the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce Arbitration and Mediation Center (ITOTAM)<\/a> was joining us, making available their awards and non-confidential materials to the public, for a greater understanding of arbitration in Turkey and the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In the same month, Jus Mundi was joined by the Thailand Arbitration Center (THAC)<\/a>, in a partnership to ensure that arbitration is better understood in the region through sharing non-confidential THAC awards with the general public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n At the close of March, we were pleased to be joined by the Center for Arbitration and Conciliation of the Bogot\u00e1 Chamber of Commerce (CAC-CCB)<\/a>, to boost global knowledge of Colombian and regional arbitration through the sharing of CAC-CCB arbitration materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In April, we proudly announced an exclusive partnership with the Nairobi Centre for International Arbitration<\/a> (NCIA) to share NCIA non-confidential awards globally, ensuring Kenya and East Africa are represented in Jus Mundi\u2019s open data in international law and arbitration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n A second partnership announced in April was with the dynamic Milan Chamber of Arbitration (CAM-Milan)<\/a> making anonymised CAM-Milan awards publicly available, helping to spread the culture of arbitration further to business in the region while respecting confidentiality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n A further European partnership was announced in April with the Commercial Arbitration Center of the Portuguese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CAC-CCIP)<\/a>, which aims to boost international growth of the Lusophone arbitration community by sharing non-confidential CAC-CCIP awards and arbitration materials openly on Jus Mundi\u2019s platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In May, Jus Mundi was glad to join forces with the Brazilian Arbitration Committee (CBAr)<\/a> to collaborate in the collection of Brazilian non-confidential commercial arbitration awards and related judicial decisions, making them available to the world, and for the benefit of Brazilian arbitration regionally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In June, we were joined by the Dalian International Arbitration Court (DIAC-Dalian)<\/a> in China, to make non-confidential DIAC-Dalian arbitration awards and related documents freely available to the world, to improve understanding of important arbitration in China.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In July, Jus Mundi was delighted to announce a major collaboration with the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID)<\/a>, the premier institution dedicated to resolving international investment disputes. The collaboration aims to provide the public with a deeper understanding of the ICSID dispute settlement process and the development of international law on foreign investment, through Jus Mundi hosting a selection of ICSID online resources on its platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In August, Jus Mundi announced a collaborative partnership with the\u202fInter-Pacific Bar Association (IPBA)<\/a> to collect non-confidential commercial arbitration materials and landmark arbitration-related judicial decisions in the Asia-Pacific region, making them available to the global community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n At the close of August, we were joined by the Tashkent International Arbitration Centre (TIAC)<\/a> to announce a partnership to share sanitized versions of TIAC awards, and other important arbitration materials, to improve global understanding of international arbitration in Uzbekistan and the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In September, we welcomed an important partnership in China with the Shijiazhuang Arbitration Commission (SJZAC)<\/a>, to share non-confidential SJZAC arbitration awards and related materials globally, to promote arbitration in China and the region as a tool of high-quality economic and social development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Our second partnership of September was with the British Virgin Islands International Arbitration Centre (BVI IAC)<\/a>, an important destination for domestic and international arbitration in the Caribbean. Under the partnership, Jus Mundi hosts select BVI IAC non-confidential arbitration awards and related information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In late September, we were honoured to announce an agreement with the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) Courts<\/a>, to host select redacted arbitration decisions and related information, allowing anyone in the world to search these materials using Jus Mundi\u2019s advanced AI-based platform and open research tools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In October we welcomed a new partnership with the Centro Internacional de Arbitraje de Madrid (CIAM-Madrid)<\/a>, to share non-confidential CIAM-Madrid arbitration awards that focus on international arbitration with the world, boosting the understanding of arbitration in Spain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n At the conclusion of October, we joined together in a wonderful partnership with the Court of Arbitration at the Polish Chamber of Commerce (SAKIG)<\/a>, a first for the Polish arbitration community, hosting select SAKIG non-confidential arbitration awards and related information on Jus Mundi\u2019s open public database.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In early November, Jus Connect announced a new strategic partnership with the Swiss Arbitration Association (ASA)<\/a> to launch a Tribunal Secretary Platform to revolutionize finding and working with tribunal secretaries in international arbitration. This collaborative effort is the first global solution for connecting arbitrators and tribunal secretaries worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In the same month, Jus Mundi teamed up with the Shanghai Arbitration Commission (SHAC)<\/a> to share redacted SHAC arbitration awards and related SHAC arbitration materials globally, ensuring that the important work of SHAC is made openly available to the regional arbitration community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In November, Jus Mundi also expanded our existing partnership with the ICC International Court of Arbitration (ICC Court)<\/a>, to begin offering free access to arbitral awards and case documents compliant with the Brazilian Arbitration Act through the ICC Dispute Resolution Library<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n At the close of November, the Guangzhou Arbitration Commission (GZAC)<\/a> and Jus Mundi entered into a strategic cooperation agreement, to host GZAC\u2019s typical cases and research results regarding on our globally open public database.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We were very proud in December to have the Tanzania Institute of Arbitrators (TIArb)<\/a> join as a new partner of Jus Mundi, in order to exclusively share non-confidential TIArb arbitration awards and related TIArb arbitration materials to the public, through Jus Mundi\u2019s platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In late December, as our final partnership announcement for the year, we were glad to team up with the Beihai Asia International Arbitration (BAIAC)<\/a>, for greater understanding of arbitration in ASEAN Plus Six, by sharing non-confidential BAIAC arbitration awards and related BAIAC arbitration materials on Jus Mundi\u2019s open platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We remain extremely grateful to all our partners, and we welcome all these wonderful new partners who have joined us in 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
