Jus Mundi<\/a> is delighted to announce an agreement with the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) Courts<\/a> to share redacted arbitration decisions and related information materials of the DIFC Courts globally, for the benefit of the public good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Under the agreement with the DIFC Courts, Jus Mundi will host select redacted arbitration decisions and related information, allowing anyone in the world to search these materials using Jus Mundi\u2019s advanced AI-based platform and open research tools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Speaking about the agreement, Jean-R\u00e9mi de Maistre<\/strong>, CEO & Co-Founder of Jus Mundi<\/strong>, said that:<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThe Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) and the DIFC Courts were established in 2004 by the late HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Prime Minister and Vice-President of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai. In 2020 the DIFC Courts created a specialized Arbitration Division, which has become a powerhouse for dispute resolution and arbitration within the DIFC.<\/strong>\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n He continued:<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThe DIFC Courts has increasingly played an important role in doing business in this vital economic region, and it is for this reason Jus Mundi is delighted that the world will have access to DIFC Courts redacted decisions and related information materials, on Jus Mundi\u2019s open platform.<\/strong>\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n The agreement will see select DIFC Courts\u2019 redacted arbitration decisions and related materials hosted on Jus Mundi\u2019s comprehensive international law and arbitration database.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The UAE\u2019s DIFC Courts administers a unique English-language common law system \u2013 offering swift, independent justice to settle local and international commercial or civil disputes. The Courts, based in Dubai, provide certainty through transparent, enforceable judgments from internationally-recognised judges, who adhere to the highest global legal standards. The DIFC Courts is independent from, but complementary to, the UAE\u2019s Arabic-language civil law system, offering a choice that strengthens both processes, while ensuring public access to world-class justice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The DIFC Courts was established under laws enacted by the late HH Sheikh Maktoum bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai in September 2004. The laws establishing the DIFC Courts are designed to ensure that the DIFC Courts provide the certainty, flexibility and efficiency expected by court users. The Courts\u2019 community-focused approach encourages early settlement, while a successful track record supports Dubai\u2019s growing status as an international business hub.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In October 2011, a decree of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, opened the DIFC Courts\u2019 jurisdiction to businesses from across the GCC region and beyond to provide the international business community with access to one of the most advanced commercial courts in the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In line with HH Sheikh Mohammed\u2019s vision, the DIFC Courts has also developed programmes to reinforce the UAE national workforce and enhance the competitiveness of Emirati advocates.
