Jus Mundi<\/a> is delighted to announce its partnership with the ELSA<\/a> to support the John H. Jackson Moot Court Competition <\/a>backed by the World Trade Organization (WTO). Jean-R\u00e9mi de Maistre<\/strong>, CEO of Jus Mundi and Louis Bremond<\/strong>, Vice President in charge of Moot Court Competitions at ELSA (pictured below), signed a Memorandum of Understanding to formalize the partnership.<\/p>\n\n\n

ELSA is the largest<\/strong> international, independent, non-political, non-profit making organization run by and for students and recent graduates, who are interested in achieving academic and personal excellence in addition to their legal or law-related studies at university.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of the partnership, all participants will receive free access<\/strong> to Jus Mundi\u2019s Academic Legal Research for the competition’s duration until <\/strong>June<\/strong> 2021<\/strong>. The participants will have access to 8,000+ documents<\/strong> related to the reports of the WTO panels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stay tuned<\/strong> as the necessary instructions to access Jus Mundi will be circulated soon and will continue to be sent on a rolling basis to all fully registered moot team members. Jus Mundi will also organize training sessions<\/strong> for the participants to teach to use the platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The John H. Jackson Moot Court Competition was founded in 2002 by the ELSA with the help of the World Trade Organization. This competition focuses on the simulated hearing of the World Trade Organization dispute settlement system. After 19 years, what started as a European students\u2019 initiative, had now become a broadly international and critical element in training future trade lawyers. The John H. Jackson Moot Court Competition developed from being a European Competition for ELSA Members to a global challenge that gathers students from all around the world every year, with 6 Regional Rounds organized across the globe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This partnership is created to align with Jus Mundi\u2019s commitment to providing easy access to international legal information, including international trade law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jus Mundi is hopeful that its most comprehensive resource on international trade law will help the participants in their research and in their preparation for the competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year\u2019s case is about Budica – Measures relating to the importation and marketing of nutrition food bars<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
